How technology has changed our lives !

I remember the time when you have to stand up in long queues to get your work done, or to go out you need to leave the house little early so that you can find auto or cab and reach to your destination on time. But, now is the time with the help of technology, cab is a few clicks (or tap) away to get you in time. And a few clicks to submit your application form or pay your bills is just a matter of few moments. Its all because of the technology. The old time which I’m talking is not too old. It was just a few years ago.

The invention of computer has changed the way we live. It was a boon for the mankind. There are tons of things which computer made so easy for us as compared to the old conventional way we used to do without computer. It has made our life simpler.

The newest member of the family is Smartphone. With reaching to more and more people each day it is making all the people connected. From the large room size computers to the pocket size smartphone, the journey is amazing. It is getting better and better.

As we think of the routine tasks we used to do in our daily life, everything is changed and these smartphones made it so easy. From the postcard to email, SMS to chatting, from taking photos to sharing photos, from booking a cab to finding a restaurant, from offline social network to online social network, from encyclopedia to Wikipedia, from sticky notes to your todos, the list is long. All has made an tremendous impact in out day to day life. The things have become so easy (May be not? Everything has a downside).

We can’t deny the fact that it is a part of our life and we can’t live without it. Think of a situation few years ago where someone needs to go to the airport for their flight and you are unavailable to drop them. Take out your phone, book a cab and within minutes the cab will be at your doorstep and you can track their route live so that you can be assured that they reach safe and on time. Now after they reach to their destination there are tons of services available to get in touch with them. You can just video call them and you will feel like they are in front of you, even if they are in another state or country. It had made the distance smaller. Your friend need a photo or some important document, send a mail in a minute. Which was so costlier early. Bunch of knowledge is at your fingertips. There are so many examples, how technology helps us.

It has saved our bunch of time and money. But a question here is, are we utilizing the time we are saving with this cool technology? Just think about it.
